AWARD-WINNING COMPOSER, PRODUCER AND MUSICIAN
Multi award-winning British Indian musician Nitin Sawhney CBE, grew up inKent, south-east England and is recognised as a world-class producer,songwriter, touring artist, club DJ, multi-instrumentalist and composer fortheatre, dance, videogames and orchestras.
Sawhney has made multiple solo albums and composed for over 70 filmsand TV series to include Mowgli, Breathe, The Namesake, Human Planet,What’s Love Got To Do With It? and Disney’s 2024 film Tiger. Holding 8honorary doctorates from respective UK universities along with 3fellowships, Sawhney also sits on the boards of multiple charities. He hasreceived over 20 major national and international awards and is a memberof the music branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences,BAFTA and the Recording Academy, and most recently a member of theillustrious 2024 Booker Prize judging panel.
